Channeling Story: Foundation Series “Rituals for Writing”

Mindfulness is a powerful tool for writing, but like any great magic, it takes some practice. We need to build a foundation. The foundation series will examine how to set your space for writing—your physical space and your mental space.
With each session building on the next, we will review all the ways to do this and how that looks in YOUR life. Like laying the bricks of your writing foundation, this series will:
- teach you the basics of mindfulness (including breathwork, grounding, and tricks to come to center in difficult moments)
- create your magical writing space so you're always inspired
- train your brain to turn on writing mode when it needs to
- remind yourself what kind of writer you are and instill self confidence in your craft and beyond
- begin the practice of meditation to find calm and turn inward (developing this "muscle" will help you tap into story in the intermediate and advanced series)
This series consists of 3 classes, 75 minutes each.
May 5th, May 12th, AND May 21st, 8 - 9:30 PM EST
You must be able to attend all 3 times. Each class takes place on Zoom.
Cost: $135 CAD. This is approximately $100 USD, depending on exchange rates at time of purchase.
By participating in these sessions you acknowledge that in entering into a class and/or meditation session with Julia Jackson, it is not a substitute for psychiatric, psychological, or medical treatments, and that you are entering into this class and/or meditation of your own free will and are of sound body and mind at the time of making this decision. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for continuing any treatments (if any) prescribed by your psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical doctor including but not limited to therapy and medications. You will not consult Julia Jackson in regards to mental health issues as she is not a mental health practitioner. Although the classes/meditations from Julia Jackson may be helpful, you acknowledge that results may vary.
